Materials Science Resource Center

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Materials Science Center has state-of-the-art instrumentation, support facilities and expert technical assistance to solve problems in research and development; manufacturing, new product development, quality control, regulatory affairs and anywhere surface characterization or elemental analysis is needed.

 

College of Business

Prepares UW-Eau Claire business students for success by giving them the skills and knowledge they need to help build an ethical and prosperous global economy by developing in them the communication, technology, and teamwork skills to lead beneficial change.

Northern Wisconsin International Trade Association

Northern Wisconsin International Trade Association (NWITA) is a non-profit membership organization committed to expanding the knowledge, interest, and activity in international trade in northern Wisconsin and the surrounding regions.

 

Stout Technology Transfer Institute (STTI)

(STTI) was established to promote technology transfer between UW-Stout and industry. The Institute, part of UW-Stout's College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), draws on Stout's impressive technical resources, including the expertise of its faculty, staff, and students and its well-equipped and diversified laboratories.

  • Center for Innovation and Development
  • The Center for Innovation and Development provides a broad range of interaction to manufacturers, inventors, and entrepreneurs through collaboration with students, faculty, and staff. Services include feasibility assessment, product engineering and design, prototype development, product evaluation, and patent advice.
  • Technology and Business Incubator
  • The Technology and Business Incubator provides a sheltered environment for emerging enterprises. The incubator fosters technical businesses through close relationships with faculty, students, industry, and the UW-Stout community to better enable Wisconsin to compete in the global economy and sustain employment within the region.

 

Chippewa Valley Innovation Center (CVIC)

The mission of the Chippewa Valley Innovation Center (CVIC) is to encourage new and emerging entrepreneurial business utilizing community resources to provide temporary facility, managerial, technical, and financial assistance.

 

Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach Center

NWMOC provides at-your-location services by seasoned practitioners with expertise in manufacturing management. The experts at NWMOC deliver integrated services to manufacturers in 33 northern and western Wisconsin counties.

 

Wisconsin Innovation Service Center (WISC)

Specializes in new product and invention assessments and market expansion opportunities for innovative manufacturers, technology businesses, and independent inventors.  Technical experts and researchers use an extensive array of resources to analyze information on technical feasibility, existing patents, market size, competitive intensity, demand trends, and other areas. WISC's research products cover product feasibility, competitive intelligence, distributor assessment, customer satisfaction, and licensing partnerships.

 

UW-Superior Northwood Nonprofits

Comprehensive program to help nonprofit leaders (staff, board, and volunteers) navigate the current environment.
