QuickBooks Getting Started

This program will explain and review basic accounting principles and show you how the software incorporates accounting language and principles.  A basic knowledge of accounting is necessary for you to setup and use QuickBooks™ 2010 effectively. This half-day session and will be a hands-on workshop in a computer lab in which you will learn how to setup a company and review basic accounting principles and concepts necessary to run QuickBooks™.

Topics include:

• Basic Accounting Concepts and Transactions
• Setting up a new company

This program is most appropriate for people who want to start using QuickBooks™ 2009 or have recently started using QuickBooks™ 2010.

Required abilities:  Basic computer and keyboarding skills including using Microsoft Windows.
