Dan Brosman

Center Director

Dan Brosman is an advocate for entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Northeast Wisconsin. As Director of the Small Business Development Center and Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UW Oshkosh, he provides consulting services and hands on programming to support the startup and development of new/existing business ventures. Dan has guided the startup of dozens of businesses, helped to create hundreds of jobs, and assisted businesses with obtaining millions in capital.

Prior to this position, Dan co-founded a fast-growing EdTech startup that was acquired in 2021. Dan is engaged with several entrepreneurial support organizations throughout the NE Wisconsin region; he is a member of the NEW Launch Alliance, on the board of IGNITE! (part of Envision Greater Fond du Lac), co-founder of The Fox Connection which hosts ‘The Pitch Fox Cities’ startup competition, and is on the board of Propel Oshkosh, the young professional’s organization in Oshkosh. Dan earned both his BBA and MBA from UW Oshkosh.

As a fun way to “practice what he preaches” and support Downtown Oshkosh businesses, Dan and his wife are owners of the Oshkosh Pedal Trolley, a 14-seat, pedal-powered party bike (also known as a pedal pub or pedal tavern) that offers private and group tours throughout downtown Oshkosh.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cheering on all Wisconsin sports, and being involved in the community.
