Lieutenant Governor’s Small Business Academy features SBDC staff

Harlie Juedes and Becca Rouse of the UW-Eau Claire SBDC and Mike Hill of the UW-Superior SBDC present at the event
The annual Lieutenant Governor’s Small Business Academy was held May 6-9. The conference is focused on providing an opportunity to learn from and connect with business leaders and technical and financial resource providers and identify the tools needed to start and grow a business. Regional in-person events were held throughout the state on May 9 and featured community business development leaders including some of our very own staff.

Our SBDC at UW-Eau Claire team was the lead on the event planning for the Eau Claire events and played a key role sharing their expertise on May 9. Harlie Juedes led a Funding Session to kick off the morning. Becca Rouse led a Financial Stability Roundtable in a break out session. Mike Hill was on the Business Succession Planning for Transition panel for the event in Hayward. Greg Martin presented at an event held in Milwaukee.
