On February 5, Maren Valentine traveled with local leaders from Dunn, St. Croix, Polk, and Pierce Counties to Madison to meet with legislators to advocate key regional issues and connect directly with state legislators and agency leaders.
Topics discussed were education, workforce, energy, healthcare, and housing.
In addition to meeting with local representatives, the group also met with the Secretary of Transportation Kristina Boardman along with Tim Mason, Northwest Region’s deputy director, to get updates on transportation projects in the region.
