UW-Eau Claire represents SBDC at roundtable
On August 25, Casey Schumacher, Outreach Specialist at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Eau Claire, spoke on behalf of the SBDC to state and local leadership at the DWD Workforce Solutions Initiative Roundtable. She shared highlights of the SBDC at UW-Eau Claire, including their work with the Workforce Innovation Grant which helped start the Capital Access Clinic and Student Internship program.
At the event, Secretary Amy Pechacek and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation Secretary John Miller were joined by Governor Tony Evers to discuss the innovative workforce investments made over the last few years to help the state address some of the toughest workforce challenges.
UW-River Falls represents SBDC at fair
Maren Valentine, Business Consultant, and Katherine Fossler, Center Director, represented the SBDC at UW-River Falls at the recent Resource Fair for returning faculty and staff, highlighting consulting, education, and resources the SBDC offers to new, aspiring, and growing entrepreneurs.
