Business Consultant
Kate’s areas of expertise include many aspects of business planning especially marketing, promotion, and branding. She has an array of experience implementing multi-step goals, planning events, identifying and rectifying process inefficiencies, presenting, writing, and shooting and polishing photography.
Her team can rely on her for additional assistance, and she brings authentic positivity and energy into each day. She enjoys getting to know people and loves building on ideas with others. Collaboration and goal achievement is extremely rewarding for Kate, and she enjoys opportunities to share knowledge and present information.
Kate likes the variety of projects and services that benefit SBDC clients, and she is especially interested in topics related to art, animals, community engagement, and the outdoors. Serving veteran entrepreneurs and positively impacting local communities is important to her.
Outside of work, her passions include serving as a volunteer mentor for at-risk youth through outdoor adventure with Packgoats as well as chicken-keeping and incubation. Most weekends, she can be found treasure hunting at estate sales and thrift stores with her kids, or at home doing hobby farm chores and home repair projects.
