Financial Consultant
Pam’s work style is down to earth and friendly. She loves teaching and coaching. She also likes taking a subject that many people don’t think they will enjoy and making it fun! Pam hopes that at the end of working on a project with her, clients feel more accomplished and more comfortable with their financials.
She has been teaching in the Accounting & Finance Department at UW-Eau Claire since the fall of 2016. Prior to teaching, Pam was a CPA in the audit department at Ernst & Young in Minneapolis. She also held a variety of positions in the corporate world. Most of her professional career was spent doing small business consulting as a partner in the consulting firm ResourceAbility. Consulting gave her the opportunity to apply her business experience to helping other small businesses and start-up companies. Pam said, “My specialty was in helping small business owners understand what financial results are telling them about their businesses.”
Her family is very important to Pam. She has been married for 28 years and has 5 kids. She and her husband recently transitioned from involved sports parents to “empty nesters.” They now get to enjoy having our adult kids come home to visit our newly purchased lake home. They certainly enjoy this more relaxed stage of life.
