2022 Governor’s Business Plan Contest: Check out 8 of the Diligent (Baker’s) Dozen

Thirteen businesses representing diverse tech-based sectors are competing at the 19th annual Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest! Learn a little more about the ones familiar to us.

Businesses that have worked with the Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC), Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, Food Finance Institute or multiple programs:

  • Betterbin of Kronenwetter, providing product-specific composting instructions based on where you live through a technology-based app
  • ChloBis Water of Madison, providing an innovative and energy-efficient solution to address challenges at the intersection of the water-energy nexus with a new desalination battery
  • CompRex of La Crosse, specializing in the design, engineering and manufacturing of compact heat exchangers and heat exchange reactors targeted for high temperature and pressure applications
  • Contrast Dynamics of Verona, developing technology to image as well as measure and quantify the velocity of blood flow in blood vessels
  • FANTM of Madison, developing next-generation wearable human-computer interfaces that enable users to interact with digital systems using gesture and motion in AR, VR and more
  • HeyGov of Sturgeon Bay, transforming local government through a suite of digital tools
  • My Hearing Care of Milwaukee, developing an over-the-counter hearing aid that makes better hearing more accessible and more affordable for people suffering from mild to moderate hearing loss
  • Rapid Radicals Technology of Milwaukee, creating a rapid, decentralized wastewater treatment system that can treat water 16 times faster than conventional treatment

What’s next? Finalists will deliver seven-minute pitches live at the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference on June 1. Winners will be announced June 2 during the closing of the conference.
