Jason E. Mueller, Program Manager and Consultant
Jason Mueller is responsible for the Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) education programs as well as consulting for new entrepreneurs and established business owners. He also works with local professional organizations to provide assistance with market research, financial projections, funding applications and strategy. Jason received his B.A. in religious studies with a minor in chemistry from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He brings more than five years manufacturing experience, seven years retail, four years distribution operations and 10 years professional coaching to the SBDC. He is currently finishing his certificate in Data Analysis from the UWM School of Continuing Education.
Cheryl Mitchell, Consultant
Cheryl Mitchell works as a consultant at the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She has nearly ten years of business consulting experience with great success. Cheryl previously worked at Silicon Valley SBDC, Silicon Valley SCORE, three startups that successfully exited by acquisition by Fortune 500 companies, in addition to running her own consultancy. Her ambitions have led her to teach women college graduate business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Cheryl earned her BBA in Finance, Investments and Banking from UW Madison and her MBA in Strategy and General Management from Massachusetts Institutes of Technology-Sloan School of Management.
