SBDC at UW-Green Bay earns Small Business Administration excellence award

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has earned a Service Excellence award from the Wisconsin District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The Wisconsin SBDC at UW-Green Bay exceeded goals for the center’s number of long-term clients, new business starts and customer satisfaction.

Director of the SBDC at UW-Madison to lead Wisconsin SBDC Network

UW-Extension’s Mark Lange has appointed Neil Lerner as interim director of the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, a statewide network of 12 service centers and three specialty centers. All Wisconsin SDBC Network centers are affiliated with University of Wisconsin four-year campuses, including UW-Madison where Lerner has been the center director since 1996.

SBDC Clients Inject $103 Million into Wisconsin's Economy

Business owners and entrepreneurs working with Wisconsin Small Business Development Center consultants injected more than $103 million in capital into Wisconsin’s economy in 2013. The funds came through U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) guaranteed loans, conventional loans, community development funds and private investments.
