Lucy Waldhuetter, Business Consultant
Lucy Waldhuetter brings to Waukesha SBDC nearly 20 years of business experience. As a business consultant, she has worked in diverse business environments ranging from small to large fortune 100 businesses utilizing her global expertise in business growth strategy, manufacturing, new product innovation and management. She has led teams on a multitude of high-growth potential projects and also has proven experience evaluating new technologies, products and related market opportunities supporting strategic business planning and operational execution. She also teaches several MBA courses at Concordia University as an adjunct faculty. Prior to business consulting, she worked in a corporate manufacturing environment evaluating and budgeting for strategic growth opportunities, leading teams and managing projects in capital expansions, new product development and scale ups.
Lucy holds a Master degree in Business Administration and Management and BS in Engineering from University of Wisconsin.
Lucy lives in Colgate with her husband Kurt, and their children, Nicole (15) and Luke (14). She enjoys spending time and experiencing local as well as distant travel adventures with her family, partaking in number of winter and summer outdoor sports as well as gardening and reading.
Scott Alderton, Business Consultant
Scott Alderton is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience with both start-up and established organizations. He spent the majority of the last eight years utilizing his broad business management skill set to launch two successful start-up businesses. With his most recent business, Granular, being past the start-up phase, Scott serves on the company’s board of directors, providing consultation related to strategic planning, financial management, organizational development, brand strategy and compliance policy efforts.
Prior to launching his own businesses, Scott had a very successful and rewarding 16-year career in corporate marketing at Briggs & Stratton where he worked his way up the ladder from an entry-level position to Vice President of Power Products Marketing.
